Celebrating the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who is worshipped by all of Maharashtra means revising the golden pages of history. His birthday, Shiv Jayanti, is celebrated all over Maharashtra on 19th February. The festival was celebrated at Amrita Vidyalayam, Juinagar on February 17th. Cultural activities were conducted with a brief introduction about Shiva Raya. The main objective of the program was to give students a brief overview of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s life, and the cultural and historical heritage of Maharashtra.
