With Amma’s grace, all the Amritam Projects are being accomplished fruitfully in Amrita Vidyalayam. Donation of rice during birthdays, the fistful of rice brought by students every Tuesday towards Sevamritam, and small monetary contributions towards Sealing of Desire have ensured that each month we are able to donate rice and other essential items to the needy families.
Under the guidance of Principal Brni. Rekha and Sevamritam in-charge teachers Mrs. Sarika Mishra, Mrs. Shibina Uchhummal and Mrs. Indira Warrier, our students expressed their immense gratitude to the school maushees and drivers/attendants for their enormous contribution towards keeping the school clean and ensuring the safety of children at all times. A bag stitched out of old school uniforms by our students under the Wealth from Waste project containing 7 kg rice, 1 kg dal, 1/2 kg poha, 1 litre cooking oil, 250 ml coconut oil and 250 grams of soybean nuggets was presented to each one during the morning assembly by our students. The maushees and drivers conveyed their deep appreciation upon receiving the bags from our children.
