Shirwadkar, and is celebrated as Marathi Bhasha Diwas. Students were dressed in traditional attire and took pride to adorn their heads with Puneri Pheta. Students of classes 3 to 7 enthusiastically presented programs that explored various aspects of their mother tongue like Marathi folk arts, literature, santwani, and poetry. Students of classes 8 and 9 started the program with “Marathi abhiman geet”, and the program concluded with the prayer “Pasaydan” of Saint Dnyaneshwar Mauli. Students enjoyed the celebration a lot as they got an opportunity to showcase their talents throughout the event.
