The science exhibition Vijnana Sarathi 2023-24 was held at Amrita Vidyalayam on 4th November, for students of grades 3 to 12. It was a resounding success. The event was graced by the presence of the esteemed Chief Guest Dr. Kailasa Ganapati, (Scientist from BARC Mumbai). The function was meticulously organized.
The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and dispelling of darkness. This solemn moment was followed by a prayer, seeking divine blessings for the success of the exhibition.
The administrator delivered a heartfelt benedictory address, encouraging and inspiring the students to showcase their scientific talents and potential. Her words set a positive tone for the event. Our Principal, introduced the Chief Guest, Dr. Kailasa Ganapati, and spoke briefly about his achievements. The Academic In charge took the stage and delivered an insightful speech, emphasizing the importance of science education and the role of such exhibitions in nurturing young minds. The students were motivated and prepared to display their projects with enthusiasm.
Dr. Kailasa Ganapati delivered an enlightening speech, imparting valuable knowledge and insights. One of the highlights of the event was the speech given by Kaustubh Thorat of Class 9. The chief guest officially inaugurated the exhibition by cutting the ribbon. The students proudly displayed their projects which covered a wide range of scientific disciplines.
The parents thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition, as they had the opportunity to explore the students’ projects and gain a deeper understanding of their children’s scientific endeavours.
In addition to the exhibits, a food fest was organized to further enhance the experience. Parents and attendees had the chance to savour a variety of delicious cuisines, which added to the overall enjoyment of the event.
The science exhibition was a fantastic platform for students to showcase their scientific knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Dr. Kailasa Ganapati’s presence and the active participation of parents made it an even more memorable and educational experience.
