Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Hindi Diwas on 14th September 2023 with immense zeal, paying tribute to our cultural heritage and the importance of the Hindi language. The celebration was graced by our esteemed Principal, the Head Mistress, and the Academic In-charge, who added to the significance of the event with their valuable presence. The event was marked by a vibrant tapestry of activities that not only showcased the linguistic heritage of Hindi, but also emphasized its role in fostering unity and cultural pride.
The day commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the enlightenment and knowledge that language brings to our lives. The event featured a diverse array of activities, including a warm welcome address, melodious Hindi songs, heartfelt poetry recitations, captivating dance performances, a thought-provoking street play, timeless Dohe, and an inspiring speech by our Principal Mrs. Anupama Rao. The day celebrated the linguistic and cultural richness of Hindi, reinforcing its significance as a unifying force and a source of identity.
