Kartika puja was performed on 19th August 2023 under the guidance of Brni Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji. The program was attended by parents and students of Class 5, who had a wonderful opportunity to be part of this auspicious puja along with teachers. The event started with opening prayers by Brni Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji, followed by the chanting of Ganapati stotra and Durga suktam.
Parents and students wholeheartedly performed the puja by offering flower petals at Amma’s holy lotus feet during Amma’s ashtottara. Everyone sang bhajans and meditated under the guidance of Brni Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji.
She also addressed the students and parents, and explained the importance of daily prayers and mindful living. She urged the parents to role model good, value-based behaviour for their children to follow. She narrated a beautiful story to explain the importance of living in the present.
The program ended with Amma’s Arati, after which all present took Amma’s blessings with Prasad.
