In today’s fast-paced and highly competitive world, having access to reliable guidance and support when it comes to making career decisions has become more crucial than ever. Career counselling can help you navigate the complex world of work with confidence and clarity.
A career guidance session was conducted by the Principal on June 26th and 27th, 2023 for students of grades IX and X. The students were given information about various career options, how to choose a career best suited for them depending on their capabilities and potential, and the efforts to be put in to make that dream come true. They were also advised to focus on their chosen career option.
She explained the different streams such as Science, Arts, Economics and Commerce to choose from in Senior Secondary, and the various degree courses available after Grade 12 depending on the stream that they opted for. She discussed in detail about the specialisations available in different degrees, career prospects, and the colleges providing these degrees.
The students cleared their doubts by asking various questions regarding the confusions that they usually face while deciding on a career. The session was very helpful for students to identify new opportunities to achieve their career objectives.
