Akshararambham, the ceremony of initiating children into the world of learning in the traditional way, was conducted on 10th June, 2023 for the new students of our nursery section.
The program was led by School Administrator Brni. Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji. The program commenced with lamp lighting and prayer invoking the blessings of AMMA. This was followed by Saraswati Pooja, and chanting mantras of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Saraswati. She guided the parents on the significance of the traditional rituals followed by our ancestors. Parents joined for bhajans, singing the glory of Goddess Saraswati.
Children were made to write “Om Ganapatiyai Namah” with their index finger on a plate filled with rice. Mothers blessed their children and initiated them into the world of formal learning.
The event was attended by enthusiastic parents and their children who vibrantly participated throughout the ceremony. The program concluded with Prasad distribution.
