Nature often gifts us with precious gems, and our beloved ‘AMMA’ is one of them. Born on September 27th, the entire world celebrates her 68th birthday today. Her divine spiritual power, the relentless efforts to save and nurture mankind, the unconditional love showered upon all, and Her unimaginable guidance to illumine our inner selves, have instilled awareness and strengthened a deep bond with nature. She has touched the hearts of millions through an embrace, and Her great contributions are innumerable.
Her birthday is being observed as a day of global prayer and service for world peace. Amrita Vidyalayam, Juinagar too participated in the global prayer meet and offered respect and reverence towards Amma.
Amrita Nursery students chanted prayers during their online classes and were enthusiastic to exhibit their love for Amma by offering flowers and greeting cards. Amrita Vidyalayam students expressed their gratitude and love by making greeting cards and origami flower bouquets. They created videos of Amma’s service towards society, and her journey was captured by some through clips and PPTs. The students prayed for global peace, and they were enlightened about the teachings of Amma by their respective teachers.
LET US ALL PURIFY OUR THOUGHTS AND ACTIONS AND SURRENDER OURSELVES TO THE SUPREME POWER. LET US SEEK FORGIVENESS FOR OUR ERRORS AND COME TOGETHER AND LIGHT LAMPS OF UNITY TO REMOVE THE DARKNESS WE MADE DUE TO IGNORANCE. LET US FILL OURSELVES WITH PEACEFULNESS, KINDNESS, HONESTY, COMPASSION, SELFLESSNESS AND SERVICE-MINDEDNESS.
