Literary Club Activity – 16/08/2019

Children live in an imaginary world most of the time, and the imaginary world they live in is precious to them. This imagination gained expression when students of classes 3 and 4 participated in “Picture Story Writing” activity, where they were shown a picture and asked to write their interpretation of it. They also came forward and narrated their creative stories which helped to boost their writing and oratory skills.

“Twist to the Tale” was an interesting concept designed for the students of classes 5 and 6, where students who have listened to fairy tales since their childhood had to reinvent them and present a new version. The teachers were very encouraging, and this helped the students to unleash their imagination and come up with stories that were fun and extremely creative.

With riddles and puzzles around, there is never a dull moment. Students of classes 7 and 8 participated in riddles put forth to them in English, Hindi and Marathi, and were excited to solve the English crossword grid. Teachers found an ideal way to make the students seek out new words, and at the same time incorporated the interest of solving crosswords.
