Amrita Vidyalayam, Juinagar planned a host of activities to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. While students came in their white uniforms, all the teachers also came dressed in white. During the morning assembly presented by Chinmayi House, students gave a touching speech on the events of the Kargil War depicting the life of the Indian soldiers during the war, as well as their patriotism, sacrifice, integrity and unity. The students rendered a soulful song paying tribute to the Indian soldiers. During the day, students actively participated in various competitions like essay writing, slogan writing and poster making.
