“Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamare dil mein hai”, “tum mujhe khoon do, mein tumhe azaadi doonga” and “Swaraj is my birthright and I shall have it”…These words echoed in the school auditorium on August 4, 2016 when the young students of classes I through IV dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandrashekhar Azad, Shivaji Maharaj, Rani Laxmibai, Savitribai Phule and others, brought alive the spirit of patriotism in all of us by portraying these dynamic leaders of India. The value for the week was Patriotism and these children proved that they are the “leaders of tomorrow”. Students were dressed in the vibrant costumes of their favourite leaders and delivered the inspirational quotes fluently.
