Krishna Janmashtami, celebrating the birth of our beloved ‘Kanha,’ was a joyous occasion for the students of Amrita Nursery and Grades 1 and 2. Dressed in their finest traditional attire, the little gopas and gopis arrived with excitement, ready to participate in the festivities.
Class activities revolved around the story of little Krishna, lovingly narrated by the teachers, bringing his mischievous and endearing tales to life. A beautiful floral decoration welcomed Ladoo Gopal, and the celebration began with Administrator Brni. Sharanyamritaji lighting the lamp and offering maakhan and prasadam to the deity.
Teachers and students joined together in singing Krishna aarti and bhajans, filling the air with love and devotion. The school quadrangle then came alive with energy as everyone joyfully danced to the tunes of Krishna songs, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to Krishna’s spirit, leaving everyone filled with happiness and devotion.
