On August 17th, Amrita Vidyalayam, Navi Mumbai, celebrated Sanskrit Day with a series of enriching activities. The event began with the lighting of the lamp and a prayer, setting a spiritual tone. Highlights included a thought-provoking drama aimed at instilling values in young minds, a vibrant dance performance, and a compelling speech on Bharat, all of which emphasized India’s rich cultural heritage and the importance of staying connected to our roots. The celebration also featured a series of Sanskrit riddles, which were enthusiastically received by the audience, offering both entertainment and a deeper appreciation for the versatility of the Sanskrit language. A Sanskrit movie was screened, showcasing the timeless wisdom and cultural significance of the language. The event concluded with an inspiring speech by the Administrator, who emphasized the role of Sanskrit in preserving cultural identity and encouraged students to embrace and learn the language.
