Raksha Bandhan, a day celebrating the cherished bond between brothers and sisters, was joyfully observed by the students of Amrita Vidyalayam on 17th August 2024. Dressed in traditional attire, the children eagerly participated in the festivities. The girls tied rakhis on the wrists of the boys, who in return offered them sweets, symbolizing their love and protection.
Teachers took the opportunity to explain the significance of the day, and students watched videos that deepened their understanding. They also learned about the tradition of tying rakhis to our brave soldiers at the national borders, honoring their role in safeguarding the country.
