Raksha Bandhan, celebrating the cherished bond between brothers and sisters, was joyfully observed by the students of Amrita Vidyalayam on 17th August 2024. Dressed in traditional attire, the children eagerly participated in the festivities. Girls tied rakhis on the wrists of the boys, who in return gifted them sweets. Teachers explained the significance of the day, and students watched videos that highlighted the tradition. They also learned about how rakhis are tied to soldiers at the national border as a gesture of gratitude for their service in protecting the country. Amrita Vidyalayam extends warm wishes to everyone for a Happy Raksha Bandhan!
