With the blessings of our beloved Amma, the “Akshararambham” ceremony was organized on June 14, 2024, for the Amrita Nursery FC1 students. This auspicious event marks the initiation of children into formal education through the sacred Akshararambham ceremony. Parents bring their children to Goddess Saraswati to bless them with the capability to receive knowledge from our institution. The program was led by the administrator, Brni. Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji.
The ceremony began with invoking Lord Ganesha and Maa Saraswati through bhajans and vandana. The traditional ritual of Akshararambham was performed with great reverence to Goddess Saraswati. Parents placed their children on their laps and guided them to write ‘OM HARI SHRI GANAPATAYE NAMAH’ on a plate of yellow rice with their right-hand index finger. Children then took blessings from their parents by bowing down to them.
The auditorium was filled with pure expressions of love and prayer. Parents and students paid their respects to Amma by seeking her blessings and received prasadam from Brni. Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji.
