The school commenced for Amrita Nursery FC1 on June 5, 2024, beginning with a parent orientation in the school auditorium. The school Administrator, Brni. Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji, and the Principal initiated the program by lighting the lamp and seeking Amma’s blessings. Brni. Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji emphasized the importance of developing a strong parent-child bond, highlighting that healthy parental involvement in daily activities can lay the foundation for children’s social and academic skills. Her words were filled with wisdom for everyone present.
The Principal welcomed the parents and outlined the inspiring vision and mission of Amma, stating that the school offers a modern scientific education blended with cultural and spiritual values. She explained that pre-primary evaluations are conducted using a continuous comprehensive method rather than grades. The Nursery Teacher then briefed the parents on the school’s rules and regulations, while the Coordinator introduced the Amrita Nursery Initiative: the ‘Parent – Child Connect’ program. The functionalities of the DC Parent app were explained by the DC Parent In-charge. The orientation concluded with a shanti mantra.
