The school reopened for Amrita Nursery FC2 & FC3 on June 3, 2024. Kids were excited as they walked into their respective classes. Parent orientation took place in the school auditorium. The Principal welcomed the parents and shared the inspiring vision and mission of Amma, highlighting that the school provides a modern scientific education infused with cultural and spiritual values. She explained that the evaluation in pre-primary is done using a continuous comprehensive method, rather than grades.
The Jr. KG Teacher briefed the parents on the school’s rules and regulations, while the Coordinator introduced the Amrita Nursery Initiative: the ‘Parent – Child Connect’ program. She emphasized the importance of fostering a strong parent-child bond, noting that it promotes mental, linguistic, and emotional development and that healthy parental involvement in daily activities can lay a foundation for social and academic skills. The functionalities of the DC Parent app were then explained by the DC Parent In-charge. The orientation concluded with shanti mantra.
