The school celebrated Prize Distribution Day 2024 for the foundational course with enthusiasm and reverberating celebrations on 9th March. The function was presided over by Chief Guest Ms. Sonal Majeethia, Swami Avyayamritananda Puriji and School Administrator Brni Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji, with our proud parents in the audience.
The programme commenced with the dignitaries lighting the auspicious ceremonial lamp and offering pranams to beloved Amma. Following the formal welcome, the progressive annual report was presented by the Principal highlighting the progress of the school throughout the year. The Chief Guest Ms. Sonal Majeethia addressed the parents with her enlightening words, focussing on understanding and accepting the limitations of a child, and working on them through proper help and guidance. She emphasized the importance of spending time with children, and teaching them practical things to their personality. Very inspirational speeches were delivered by Swamiji and the Administrator, imparting experiences from real life.
This was followed by prize distribution to the students who had excelled in various academic and co-curricular competitions held throughout the year.
The theme for the cultural program was “Mother”, based on which our little kids performed various forms of dances rooted in Indian culture. Our students danced to various songs with colourful props. The most riveting performance depicting respect to Mother Earth and the importance of the mother drew a big round of applause.
Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Monikarani S, acknowledging the efforts of students, teaching, non- teaching and supporting staff. She thanked the esteemed guests for their precious time and presence. This was followed by the national anthem and Shanti Mantra. The entire event was an unforgettable experience, and left a lasting impression on the minds of everyone present. It was indeed a spectacular display of talent and fervour.
