AYUDH – Awaken Youth, Unite for Dharma – workshop for 3 days was organised at Amrita Vidyalayam, inspired by the international youth movement to empower young minds by Mata Amritanandamayi Devi.
The workshop commenced on October 31, 2023, with the traditional and symbolic lamp lighting ceremony. The Ayudh representatives were welcomed with a brief introduction by Principal Mrs. Anupama Rao. Administrator Brni Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji gave a comprehensive introduction of AYUDH, its mission, and its global reach. Students gained an understanding of the organization’s commitment to empowering young minds with values and spiritual awareness.
Following this, Brni Amritatmika Chaitanya and team engaged the students in interactive sessions. This encouraged participants to reflect on universal values like compassion, empathy, and the practical application of these principles in daily life.
On November 3rd, a session was conducted exclusively for registered students. Brni Sharanyamrita ji motivated the students through her thought-provoking talk, and the Ayudh team continued with activities and games to understand the strengths and capabilities of the registered students. Swami Avyayamritananda Puri ji also addressed the students by giving a spiritual talk after a brief break.
These events served as an important step in nurturing socially responsible and empathetic individuals who will contribute positively to society, carrying forward AYUDH’s mission of hope, peace, and positive change.
