Investiture Ceremony marks the new chapter of leadership at Amrita Vidyalayam.
The stage was set for a momentous occasion as our school held its annual Investiture Ceremony, where the mantle of leadership was passed on to a new generation of young achievers. The event, held with great pomp and grandeur, showcased the school’s commitment to nurturing and empowering its students to become responsible and capable leaders of tomorrow.
The ceremony commenced with an air of anticipation and excitement, as students, teachers, and esteemed guests gathered to witness the program. The occasion was graced by the presence of Administrator Bri Sharanyamrita Chaitanyaji, Chief Guest Dr. Sunita Vivek Upadhyay who has a deep passion in spreading the knowledge of our ancient texts, Principal Mrs. Anupama Rao, and HM Miss Monika, who were warmly welcomed by the school Academic In charge Mrs. Prajna Arun.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The Administrator addressed the gathering and delivered an inspiring speech which resonated deeply with the students, encouraging them to embrace their roles as leaders like Shri Krishna and Lord Rama.
The investiture ceremony then proceeded with the announcement of the newly appointed student council members. The newly appointed council members exuded confidence and a sense of responsibility as they received their badges and sashes from the Administrator, Chief Guest and Principal, signifying their authority and commitment to serving the school community.
In addition to the Head Boy and Head Girl, a team of competent and dedicated teachers and students assumed various leadership roles, including House Mothers, Captains, Vice-captains, Sports Captains, and Amritam project In charges. Each student leader was carefully chosen based on their exemplary academic performance, leadership skills, and commitment to the school’s values.
Principal, Mrs. Anupama Rao, introduced Amritam projects to the gathering to acquaint them with the various projects taken up by our school according to Parama Pujya Amma’s Vision and Mission.
Then the Chief Guest addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of leadership, teamwork, and integrity in shaping the future of the nation, as well as making a positive impact on the school and society at large.
Speaking on the occasion, newly elected leaders and house mothers emphasized the importance of hard work, punctuality and utilizing one’s skills to empower others. The program concluded with vote of thanks and Shanti Mantra.
