Raksha Bandhan is celebrated to mark the purity and sanctity of the bond that exists between siblings. It stands out as a unique tradition of our culture that emphasizes the importance of relationships and family ties. Fondly dressed in their traditional attire, the day started with a short film shown to all our Amrita Nursery students, followed by some interesting Raksha Bandhan activities.
NURSERY: Nursery girls made rakhis and decorated them with pulses, cotton buds, and other decorative materials available at home. Nursery boys were asked to prepare greeting cards. The garlic clove print method to make flowers was taught using watercolours.
Jr. KG: Rakhis were decorated as a part of their school activity.
Sr. KG: Beautiful rakhis were prepared by students as a part of their Raksha Bandhan activity.
Sit back and enjoy the video where an array of interesting activities are being presented.
