A one-day workshop by IIT-Bombay on “Training of teachers in Python” was attended by Mr. Vishal Mane and Ms. Tejinder Kaur, computer teachers of Amrita Vidyalayam on June 22, 2019 at two remote centres – Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College and MES Pillai College of Engineering.
The workshop was conducted by Prof. Prabhu Ramachandran and his technical team using live video conferencing facility (A-VIEW) and hands-on sessions using Spoken Tutorial. This real time interaction between the teachers and the online technical team made the session very interesting as teachers were able to get immediate answers to their questions.
Our teachers felt enriched by the knowledge they gained from attending this workshop. They felt that the opportunity to interact with peers from the education ecosystem and discuss various aspects of teaching helped them to gain in depth knowledge of the latest updates and development in Python.
