During the Amrita Fest held on Saturday, July 29th, students of our secondary and senior secondary sections performed with full gusto while representing their Houses. Students from classes V to XII belonging to Amritamayi, Anandamayi, Chinmayi and Jyotirmayi Houses took part in Quiz (Ramayana and General Knowledge), Gurustotram chanting, Elocution, Best out of Waste, Poster Making and Mehendi competitions. This was the first in the series of Amrita Fests that will be held during the year. There was excitement in the air as 5th to 8th graders from Chinmayi House won the Ramayan Quiz; the GK Quiz was won by Anandamayi House. Students enjoyed the Fest thoroughly and competed fiercely to add up points for their respective Houses. Both teachers and students enjoyed the Fest, and are gearing up for the 2nd series of Amrita Fest on August 5th in which 1st to 4th graders will be participating.
