The tiny tots of Amrita Nursery looked vibrant in their red coloured dresses as they celebrated Red Day. The teachers had planned a host of activities which focussed specifically on the colour Red. Games such as “Fire in the Mountain” to identify the fire engine, and 4-corners where cut-outs of watermelon, apple, tomato and strawberry were placed, kept their energetic feet and minds engaged. Different colour days are celebrated throughout the year to help the children with colour identification.
Students also painted fruits and vegetables using finger paints. They had very thoughtfully brought fruits that were red in colour for their snack time.
