Silver Zone Foundation, New Delhi

171 students participated in the International Olympiad of Mathematics (iOM) 2014 held on 15/11/14. 13 Gold Medals, 9 Silver Medals and 6 Bronze Medals were won by our students and 4 students qualified for Level 2. Animesh Chaturvedi of and Satyam Rajmukul Kumar of Std 9A secured 23^rd International Olympiad Rank.

37 students participated in the International Informatics Olympiad (iIO) 2014 held on 20/11/14. 10 Gold Medals, 7 Silver medals and 4 Bronze Medals were won by our students. Out of the 5 students who qualified to appear for Level 2, the school bagged 4 Gold and 1 Silver Medal. Harisha Sivakumar of Std 8 A secured the 22^nd Olympiad Rank.

150 students participated in the International Olympiad of Science (iOS) 2014 held on 9/12/14. 10 Gold, 10 Silver and 9 Bronze Medals were won by our students and 8 students qualified for Level 2.

70 students participated in the International Olympiad of English language (iOEL) 2015 held on 11/12/14. 8 Gold, 8 Silver and 8 Bronze Medals were won by our students and 2 students – qualified for Level 2.

64 students participated in the International Talent Hunt Olympiad (iTHO) 2014 held on 16/12/14. 9 Gold, 9 Silver and 6 Bronze medals were won by our students.

Spell Bee International

37 students participated at the State level. Out of this, 22 students qualified to compete at the National level.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Juinagar has been awarded with the “Performance Excellence Award for “iOM and iOS – 2014-15″

SPORTS

In the CBSE Cluster Volleyball Championship, Surat conducted between 15^th to 19^th October u/19 Girls won the 1^st position and the u/19 boys came in 2^nd position.

Urvi Bhatt of Class X B was declared the Best player and Priya Chand of Class X B was declared the Best Lifter in tournament. Mahesh Nalawade of Class XI A was declared the Best smasher.

u/19 Boys came in the 3^rd position whereas the u/17 girls qualified for the State Level at the D.S.O. Interschool Divisional Volleyball Tournament held on 11^th and 12^th October in Dharavi.

u/14 Boys won the 1^st position in the D.S.O Interschool State Level Volleyball Tournament held from 28^th to 30^th September in Kolhapur. Suresh Singh and Swastik Chaudhary of VIII B went up to play at the National Level.

At the All India Football Tournament held in Goa from 5^th May to 10^th May, the u/14 Boys came in 1^st position and u/12 boys came in the 2^nd position.

****In the CBSE National Inter School Volleyball Championship held between 2^nd December to 8^th December at Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, u/19 reached semi-finals.

Cultural Achievements

The school bagged the 8^th Prize for Warli Dance at the Inter-State Balrang Festival held in Bhopal in January.

Out of the 916 students who participated in the All India Camel Colour Contest 2014, the school bagged 12 awards and these students were eligible to participate in the next level.

At the Sakal Balmitra Drawing Competition 2014 held at the State Level, 180 students participated. The school Bagged 2 First Prizes, 1 Second Prize and 3 Consolation Prizes.

At the Rangeela Rangraja Contest 2015 held at the State Level, a total of 1070 students participated, out of which 21 students were selected and were eligible to participate in the next level.
