In an effort to enrich classroom experiences and foster holistic student development, Amrita Vidyalayam recently organized a transformative teachers training Workshop on Art integration on 30th May 2023.
The workshop was conducted by Academic In charge Prajna Arun for the teachers of 1st to 5th standards. The program aimed to equip educators with the necessary skills and strategies to incorporate art into various academic disciplines, stimulating creativity, critical thinking, and interdisciplinary connections among students.
Art integration, the practice of infusing artistic elements into traditional subjects, has gained traction as a powerful educational tool. The training program sought to familiarize teachers with the concept of art integration and highlight its benefits in educational settings. Through workshops and interactive sessions, educators gained insight into how art can enhance engagement, improve problem-solving abilities, and promote deeper understanding across subjects.
