Sri Ajith Basu explained the meaning of Abodha-prabodhanam, which means internalizing knowledge through ‘natural’ learning and practice. Value education is important as it brings quality in life and leads to healthy development of the child. He said that teachers should include social, cultural, spiritual and personal values in their lessons. He also said that a teacher should be non-judgemental and accept the shortcomings of her student.
