October is called Cyber Security Awareness Month. With the increase in cyber technology, cybercrime has been an unavoidable truth of our day-to-day life. It is our responsibility to secure all online data transactions and important details, both personal as well as official. Additionally, we must be aware of the consequences of our data being misused, steps to retrieve the same, and whom to approach if we are threatened online, or a victim of cyberbullying.
Cyber security is the application of technologies, processes, and controls to protect systems, networks, programs, devices, and data from cyber-attacks. It aims to reduce the risk of cyber-attacks and protect against unauthorized exploitation of systems, networks, and technologies.
Amrita Vidyalayam provided necessary information related to cyber security, cybercrime, and the Do’s and Don’t to our students. As responsible citizens, let us all be educated to understand the cyber system and lead a crime-free life.
