Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the most prominent festivals of India and is celebrated with great devotion across the country. Nothing can beat the zeal of devotees who await the arrival of their beloved Lord Ganesha. The colourful walls of every home, the pandals, the glittering stringed lights, the aroma of incense sticks and dhoop, and the sweet smell of delicious modaks, as well as other delicacies, bring hope into our lives.
At Amrita Vidyalayam, the teachers make sure to carry out at least one activity prior to the Ganesh Chaturthi holidays. This not only helps children to understand Indian mythology but also enables them to contribute to their families and society.
Children learnt to make the Best out of Waste, eco-friendly Ganesha, rangoli, clay models and various drawings of Lord Ganesha using leaves, pulses, colours, etc.
