INTERNATIONAL LITERACY DAY 2021

International Literacy Day 2021

International Literacy Day is observed across the world on September 8th every year to remind us that literacy is a matter of human rights and dignity. A literate person can bring in societal, behavioral, cultural, and personal changes to sustain the world.

The theme for the day this year was “Literacy for a Human-Centered Recovery: Narrowing the Digital Divide”.

Even during these times of global crisis, efforts have been made by us to find alternate ways to ensure the continuity of learning, including distance learning, often in combination with in-person learning. Teachers carried out some interesting class activities to promote World Literacy Day.

Students enjoyed making bookmarks, designed posters, penned moral stories, delivered speeches, and presented PPTs.
