This year, the most awaited Raksha Bandhan was celebrated on the 22nd of August 2021. It is one of the most prominent occasions that we Indians celebrate with fond memories of our childhood, looking ahead to strengthen our bond as brothers and sisters with a promise to love, care and protect each other, and wishing each other prosperity, success and good health.
Amrita Vidyalayam students from classes I to V celebrated this day with much gaiety and fun. Teachers crafted a few interesting activities for students. Some of them made their own rakhis to tie to their beloved brothers, while some wrote heartfelt messages for them. While flower decorated thalis stole our hearts, mandala art rakhis and a rangoli in the shape of a rakhi too were in the row.
Activities that leave an impression for a lifetime are the actual learning experiences of life and we must cherish every moment of them.
