“It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves that will make them successful human beings.” – Ann Landers
A proud moment as we Indians step up united to celebrate our 75th Independence Day. This day is celebrated religiously throughout the country, reminding every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches of British colonialism for over 200 years. It was on 15th August 1947 that India was declared independent from British colonialism, and the reins of control were handed over to the leaders of the country. The struggle for freedom was long and strenuous, and all along we witnessed the sacrifices of many freedom fighters who laid down their lives for their country.
Mr. Ravi Kalantre unfurled the National Flag in the presence of a few AV staff members, which was followed by the National Anthem. He urged us to be responsible citizens of the nation, which would further help the younger generation to follow the path of discipline and love for the country.
Amrita Vidyalayam students showed their gratitude towards all the brave hearts and celebrated the day with much devotion. Hold back your seats and enjoy the patriotic ride as each activity done by our students unfold. Brace yourself to some iconic memories of this virtual celebration.
