JANMASHTAMI 2020

Krishna Janamashtami was celebrated globally on August 11, 2020. His birth marks a new beginning where truth is the religion, love is the language and life is a celebration. Each year, we eagerly wait to celebrate the day with much fervour as children come to school dressed in the best of their Kanha and Radha outfits. This year was an exception though. Owing to the current pandemic situation, children participated in the celebration virtually. Nothing could steal the zeal of our very own cute Kanhas and Gopis who devotedly welcomed Shri Krishna at home. Our pre-primary tots dressed as Krishnas and Gopis, celebrated the day with much fun and enthusiasm. Children sang melodious Krishna bhajans and various activities were initiated by the teachers to mark their affection towards Krishna. Harini of Class X-C prepared an idol of Krishna using a few materials which were easily available at home, while some others drew eye-catching murals of Lord Krishna. Devotion has no boundaries and can be found only within ourselves. This was proved by Shreya Ugalmulgle of VI-A, who sketched our Natkhat Makhan Chor with love.
