The Literary Club activities were conducted in 3 languages, English, Hindi and Marathi. The students were given the option of selecting the event in their preferred language.
Students of classes 3 and 4 participated in storytelling activity. Around 40 students participated in this category. The children came prepared to enthrall the audience with a story of their choice, and they were assessed based on content, expression and confidence.
Students of classes 5 to 8 took part in Extempore competition. It was very entertaining to listen to them speak on various topics such as Blood Donation, Social Media, Necessity of CCTV cameras in public places, etc. Majhi Shala, Matru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava and Maza Dheye were taken up by students, making it a linguistic treat for all.
The aim of conducting these activities was to instill confidence in the students and boost their public speaking skills. The topics were carefully chosen and the insights of the young students were very interesting.
