Two teachers of Amrita Nursery, Mrs. Priya Menon (Co-ordinator) and Mrs. Bavina Marchande attended a workshop on ‘Latest Teaching, Pedagogy and Interactivity’ on September 22nd, 2018 at S.S. High School, Nerul. The workshop was conducted by Mrs. Sonali Nadkarni.
The workshop focussed on various methods of introducing the Alphabets, Blends and Ordinals. The teachers were trained to always introduce concepts or numbers through poems, as children would be able to grasp and register it better that way.
Teachers also participated in group activities, and felt that it was a very good learning experience overall. They were very excited to share their new knowledge with their colleagues, and implement the new methods in their classrooms right away.
