Lending a Helping Hand to Families Affected by Kerala Floods

The school is overwhelmed by the contributions received from students, teachers and staff for the families hit by the unfortunate floods in Kerala. An entire classroom was filled with their contributions. The senior secondary students stepped in to segregate and pack all the contributions in cartons. Around 40 cartons consisting of biscuits and rusks, 20 cartons of bed sheets, sleeping mats, blankets and clothes, 8 cartons of pulses and packed provisions, 2 cartons of sanitary napkins, and 5 cartons containing medicines, Odomos and anti-fungal powder were prepared. Principal Brni. Rekha was completely involved in the entire process. Though there is no substitute for physical presence, the noble thought behind helping the families was very endearing. The items will be sent to Kerala where volunteers from Amma’s ashram will help to distribute it among the relief camps.
