A workshop for Amrita Nursery teachers on Inspirational Science was conducted by Ms. Sanskriti Singh from 'Sparkles' on October 7, 2017. Interesting science concepts such as catalyst, exothermic and neutral nature of chemical substances, absorption and release of heat and oxygen to create form, and continuous flow of form was learnt. The teachers made slime with glue sparkle and also conducted experiments with substances available in the kitchen such as citric acid, vinegar, potassium, salt, sugar, lime etc. in different combinations to observe the reactions. Teachers enjoyed this hands on experience very much.
