Students of our Amrita Vidyalayam actively participated in the biggest ever tree planting drive launched by the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Sri Devendra Fadnavis, wherein almost 2 crore trees will be planted across the state on July 1 in order to promote and protect the green cover in the state.
Four mango trees, one jamun tree and one guava tree were planted in the school campus along with stems of mango-ginger, ajwain (carom), tej patta (Indian bay leaf), and turmeric. Students also planted tulsi plants, flowering plants like mogra and climbers.
